ZuSE-KI-AVF Workshop am IMS

On June 22, 2023, ICE visited the University of Hannover and participated in a workshop organized by the IMS as part of the BMBF project ZuSE-KI-AVF.

The ZuSE-KI-AVF project is part of the ZuSE funding line discussed in this collaborative workshop, focusing on novel processor architectures for artificial neural network processing. In addition to the processor architectures, scientific questions surrounding aspects such as memory interfaces, virtual prototypes, compiler design, security mechanisms, and AI algorithms for sensor signal processing in the automotive domain (processing radar, camera, and lidar data) were at the center of the discussions. In this context, ICE is responsible for providing the modern compiler toolchain and some security aspects concerning protecting the hardware's integrity.
