Team Neureka from ICE wins RWTH Innovation Award 2023

The team Neureka (Felix Staudigl, Rebecca Pelke and Jan Moritz Joseph) took first place with a Software Development Kit für neuromorphic AI-Chips in Edge-Applications. Neureka aims to bring neuromorphic computing to everyone's devices and created a hardware and software development kit to make neuromorphic computing systems more accessible for device makers. The kit integrates neuromorphic chips into computing systems and enables easy programming of AI applications with reduced risk and energy consumption. Customers include industrial users, mobile device manufacturers, and Smart City IoT device providers. This price will further strengthen ICE’s neuromorphic computing activities on compilers, architectures and security, and promote our NeuroLab.
