Abstract

In recent years Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) evolved into vast hardware/software applications. Various simulation-driven approaches can ease their development, e.g., model-based design, driving simulators and virtual platforms. To accelerate ADAS prototyping, automated model-based code generation is desirable, following a multi-scale approach. Hereby a continuous refinement is envisioned by lowering the design abstraction level at certain development stages. To join all mentioned virtual ecosystems, multi-domain co-simulation can be applied. Based on the introduced tools/techniques, this work presents a one-click ADAS code generation and fully virtual test environment. To highlight its benefits, an ADAS library was rapidly prototyped via the proposed framework system.
