During May 24/25, 2018 the ICE team visited the University of Kaiserslautern and met the local research teams from the Microelectronic Systems Design Research Group and the Chair of Electronic Design Automation for the "Advanced Embedded Systems Seminar 2018". Topics of the joint scientific seminar covered a wide range of areas, incl. Application-Specific Instruction-Set Processor (ASIP)- Design for Deep Learning, Virtual Prototyping, Hybrid Prototyping, Hardware Acceleration of Neural Networks. ICE would like to cordially thank the local host, Prof. Norbert Wehn, as well as his team for a perfect workshop organization!
