Interns from Mobile Communications Lab, TGGS, Bangkok, Thailand.

From October 2011 until late September 2012, two new interns are visiting the chair for Integrated Signal Processing Systems (ISS). The interns, Mr. Mongkol Somrobru and Mr. Nikorn Sutthisangiam come from Mobile Communications Lab, The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Lab in Bangkok Thailand, headed by Assist. Prof. Dr. Chaiyod Pirak. This exchange has been facilitated by the RWTH-TGGS collaboration.


Mr. Mongkol got M.Eng. in Telecommunications from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in 2005 and B.Eng. Degree in Telecommunication Engineering in 1999 from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Bangkok, Thailand. He is currently a PhD. candidate at the TGGS where he works on channel estimation and synchronization in cooperative communications.


Mr. Nikorn got M.Sc.and B.Eng. in Telecommunication Engineering from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) in 2007 and 2003 respectively. He is currently a PhD. candidate at the TGGS where he works on the quasi-orthogonal space-timeblock-code (QO-STBC) cooperative communications with relay selection and phase-rotation.
